2020 Clos de Vougeot Vieilles Vignes: (from vines that were planted in 1910). This is also moderately toasty with a denser if otherwise similar aromatic profile. By contrast, the difference in palate impression of the bigger, richer and more concentrated flavors is immediately evident as there is notably more power and structure, particularly on the more austere, more compact and more structured finale. The regular cuvée is very good but here there is clearly another level. (95)/2035+
