2010 Latricières-Chambertin: A very cool yet clearly ripe nose of red berry fruit liqueur, wet stone and a plethora of floral nuances leads to beautifully well-detailed, concentrated and vibrant medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a highly persistent, indeed even explosive if overtly austere finish. This saline-infused beauty is textbook Latricières though it’s also one that will require a long snooze in the cellar as the supporting tannins are fine but notably dense. 95/2027+
