Le Cornas « Les Vieilles Vignes » est issu de différentes parcelles agées de plus de 30 ans sur des coteaux de granit décomposé, le «gore».
PARKER 2011 : 94-96
The 2009 Cornas Vieilles Vignes is uber concentrated, displaying a viscous black/purple color as well as loads of gamy, smoked duck, blackberry and animal notes, huge tannins and massive concentration and intensity. It is nearly off the charts in terms of richness and tannin. Give it 5-6 years of cellaring after it is released this year and drink it over the following 20-25 years. Given how well Voge’s 1990s and 1991s are performing at present, this 2009 should be drinking fabulously well in 2030.
