2008 Chambertin: (from a 2 ha parcel that runs from the bottom to the very top of the slope). Relatively strong reduction renders the nose unreadable but the broad-shouldered and sleekly muscular flavors possess good freshness and plenty of vibrancy while culminating in an intensely mineral-driven, focused and powerful finish that is wonderfully persistent, linear and extremely tight. This too will need plenty of time to unwind, which I estimate at between 12 to 15 years. (91-93)/2020+
