Ce Pinot noir est dans une des plus prestigieuses appellations de Gevrey Chambertin. Le climat se situe sur le haut du coteau, au coeur des Grands Crus de Gevrey Chambertin. Il bénéficie d'une orientation à l'est exceptionnelle et s'étend sur 15 hectares de sol pierreux.

2008 Chambertin- Clos de Bèze: Here the nose is spicier still with a really impressive range of aromas from red and blue berry fruits to earth and underbrush tones that can also be found on the strongly mineral-suffused, muscular and overtly powerful big-bodied flavors brimming with dry extract that confers a buffered character to the firmly tannic finish that, despite the dusty mouth feel, is impeccably well balanced and impressively long.
