2007 Beaune “Au Dessus de Marconnets”: This wine is seductive if discreet, offering up a mélange of red currant and blue-berry aromas that display a touch of minerality that continues onto the fresh, lively, supple and round medium-bodied flavors that finish with plenty of depth and length. This nicely balanced effort is absolutely lovely for a villages and while it could be drunk now with pleasure, it should be capable of a few years of upside. Recommended. 89/2012+
